The Hairless, with only hair on the head, tail and feet, are indoor pets, and excellent for people with allergies. No shedding, fleas or ticks. They will need a sweater in the cold of Winter, and Sun-Block in the Summer to protect delicate skin.

The Chinese Crested are happy, alert dogs.They are loyal, affectionate, playful, entertaining companions. A friendly family dog that is not aggressive with children or other animals. Their are two distinct varieties of the Chinese Crested Dogs  - Hairless or Powderpuff.

The powderpuff variety is completely covered with a double soft and silky coat. Even though completely coated this breed is still considered  one that works better for people with allergies that would like a dog.
